  • For maximum performance, follow this standard operating procedure:
Surface Cleaning: Ensure the metal surface is clean from rust, dust, and grease. Use a degreaser to remove oil and contaminants, then apply primer as an anti-corrosion layer.
Body Filler Application: Apply Tanuri body filler to fill dents and imperfections. Allow it to cure properly, then sand the surface until smooth and even.
Primer / Surfacer: Spray primer surfacer to seal the filler surface and close any remaining pores. Sand lightly after drying to achieve a smooth base.
Basecoat: Apply the basecoat evenly to achieve consistent color coverage. Follow the recommended flash-off time between coats.
Clear Coat: Apply clear coat as a protective layer to enhance gloss, durability, and weather resistance.
Finishing: Complete the process by applying compound to remove sanding marks, improve surface smoothness, and maximize gloss.

  • The key lies in using the correct hardener mixing ratio and ensuring proper surface preparation. A perfectly clean and dry surface is essential for strong adhesion. Tanuri Nusatama products are formulated with high flexibility to withstand vibration and extreme temperature changes, helping to minimize the risk of cracking in the long term.

  • Drying time varies depending on ambient temperature. However, our fast-drying products are generally ready for sanding within 20–30 minutes at room temperature (around 30°C), significantly reducing workshop cycle time.

  • Ensure the container is tightly sealed after use and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For two-component products, make sure the hardener is not mixed into the main can unless it is ready to be used.
